DHCP Starvation/Rogue DHCP Server
DHCP Starvation: attacker floods a large number of DHCPREQUEST messages with spoofed MAC address to the server. If the DHCP server responds to these requests, all available IP addresses in the scope will be depleted in minutes. Once the real server is depleted, the attacker can establish a rogue server to respond to any new requests.
